Notice that the hose is deployed in an orderly fashion, this is especially useful in heavy brush or on varying terrain. This single strap will also serve as a great means to easily store backup complements on the hose rack, without having to rebuild the entire harness assembly.

Notice that the hose is deployed in an orderly fashion. This is crucial for building efficient hoselays in heavy brush or on steep terrain. The strap binding the hose is a means to organize the hose before deployment, and works well to organize back-up hosepack complements at the station.
